Our story and how it all started?
We believe that the best skincare is more than just superficial because it's about more than just our appearance. It's about caring for our well-being and self-esteem as well. Skincare is not just a vanity product, it's something that can have a lasting positive impact on us in various ways.
Our skin has a memory. In ten, twenty, thirty years from now, your skin will show the results of how it was treated today. Every day, we expose our skin to a ton of punishment by exposing it to different kinds of toxins in the air, dust and the sun. Going out in this climate is already hard enough - why would you purposely "hurt" your skin by putting chemicals on it? Have you ever read the ingredients list of your beauty products?
Recent studies point to significant potential health concerns of using harmful chemicals in personal products. And as if this was not bad enough, some companies even hide some nasty harmful chemicals in the name of “trade secrets” preventing the consumer from making fully informed decisions.
How it Started?
Freshmade is a brand that was founded by a husband-and-wife team who are passionate about creating high-quality, effective skincare products. Here is what our founder has to say.
The idea for Freshmade Skincare actually came about in a roundabout way. My husband and I had just gotten married, and we were both experiencing some skin issues that we attributed to the heavy chemical makeup we had been using.
Unfortunately, at the time, we were in the midst of the COVID lockdown and couldn't visit a skin doctor in person. So, we decided to try some homemade skincare recipes based on traditional Ayurvedic remedies, specifically an ubtan recipe.
To our surprise, these homemade remedies worked wonders for our skin and we both noticed a significant improvement in our complexions. After experiencing such great results with the homemade skincare remedies we were using, we decided to share our experiences on social media. To our surprise, the response was overwhelming, and we received numerous requests to share our recipes.
That's when we realized that there was a real demand for natural, effective skincare products that were free from harsh chemicals and artificial ingredients. And so, we decided to turn our passion for natural skincare into a brand.
One of the challenges of making these kinds of remedial ubtans at home is that they often require a complex mix of ingredients that can be difficult to source and properly proportion. That's where Freshmade comes in - our waterless ubtans are carefully formulated with a precise blend of active ingredients to deliver optimal results, without the hassle of mixing and measuring at home. One of the great features of our waterless products is that they can be tailored to meet the needs of different skin types. By using technology to create a customizable, waterless format for our products, we are able to offer a solution that is tailored to the needs of each individual user.
